【16 Pin】:Each of the 16 pins can be easily accessed when the scan tool communicates with the vehicle. Uses safety banana jacks that accept all types of 4mm banana plug, including those with safety boots.
【LED Indication】:OBDII Protocol Detector LEDs provide a quick indication of power or ground issues with the OBDII connector. LED Indications Yellow LEDs (pins 2/6/7/10/14/15) illuminate to indicate communication authentication with the scan tool and protocol. Green LED (pin 4/5), lights up to show ground is good ,Red LED (pin 16), lights up to indicate power.
【Note】:OBD2 Protocol Detector is designed for use by automotive professionals. The vehicle data bus can be easily accessed. Improper use may cause damage to the vehicle data communication system and related circuits and systems. Do not connect jumper pins together without knowing the circuit. Do not use this tool to power loads over 1 amp. Do not place a jumper between power pin 16 and ground pins 4,5. When the display is enabled, the yellow LED will blink when there is a change on the corresponding data line A blinking LED will allow you to determine activity on that line ,The green and red LEDs corresponding to pins 4, 5 and 16 of the OBDII connector are active.
