Note:

Do not attempt to sand or cut curved holes with them.

To avoid overheating and for last a long life, using cut oil or water, and just keep hitting and releasing the material, while try to do too fast would wear out the wheel.

Plastics require very slow speeds, they tend to melt at the contact point. Wood requires low speeds also, always experiment on a scrap first.
